COMPSTELLATION

About & editorial standards

Compstellation is an independent basketball news discovery site. The Prospect Wire brings together coverage of high school, college and international basketball, NBA draft prospects, and public basketball-related posts on X. The Hoops Wire ticker covers basketball across leagues.

How coverage is selected

We maintain a source list of national publications, recruiting outlets, local sports desks, school publications and basketball organizations. Automated checks collect available headlines and public posts, apply basketball relevance filters, and reduce duplicate entries. High school and college games, player news and rankings are included alongside scouting and recruiting coverage.

Feed inclusion is automated; it does not mean an editor has independently verified every claim. Filters can miss context or include an irrelevant item. Coverage depends on source availability and can lag behind publication. A source appearing here is not an endorsement of every statement it publishes.

Attribution and original reporting

Each item identifies its publisher or X author and links to the original. Publication times are shown when supplied by the source; a collection time is not presented as the original publication time. Images and reporting remain the property of their respective owners. Compstellation does not claim that aggregated articles or X posts are its own reporting.

Some links open the publisher’s page inside a reader; others open an external site, sometimes through Google News. The publisher controls the original article, subscriptions, corrections and availability. Public X posts reflect their authors’ statements and may include opinion or unconfirmed reporting.

Accuracy and corrections

For the full context or latest correction, consult the linked original. Updates and deletions at a publisher or on X may not immediately appear in our stored feed. We distinguish source material from any separately labeled Compstellation analysis.

Contact and corrections

For questions about Compstellation, incorrect attribution, broken links, corrections or content removal requests, email cstramaglia@gmail.com. Include the relevant article or post link and explain the issue so we can review it. Corrections to the original reporting should also be directed to its publisher.

Advertising

Advertising placements, when active, are labeled “Advertisement.” An advertisement is separate from feed coverage and does not imply an editorial endorsement. See our privacy policy for information about advertising and third-party services.
